Katy Klymus, PhD

Dr. Klymus, a research biologist with the U.S. Geological Survey since 2016, uses genomic tools and environmental DNA to improve wildlife resource management. Through her work she advances the science of eDNA ecology and eDNA sampling technologies. She also develops standards and guidelines for eDNA studies and data/ metadata reporting. Dr. Klymus serves as the ANSI Chair of the U.S. TAG to ISO/TC 147/SC 5.
